Admission Requirements
The minimum admission requirements for the academic programs vary based on whether you are applying for Diploma or Certificate or higher education certificate program.
Diploma
The entry requirements for the Diploma programs will include the following:
- One principal pass at Advanced level or (UACE) obtained at the same seating or its equivalent.
- At least 5 passes at ordinary level or (UCE) obtained at the same seating or its equivalent
- Or Mature age entry certificate obtained from a recognized institution of higher learning or its equivalent.
- A certificate or its equivalent obtained from a recognized institution
Duration for Diploma
The diploma programs take a duration of two (2) years for full time study (for both regular and weekend students), with four (4) academic semesters, and one recess semester for industrial attachment/internship taken at the end of the academic semesters in the second year.
Certificate
The entry requirements to the Certificate program is such that the student applying should have;
- Passed ordinary level examinations with at least 5 passes at the same seating including English and or mathematics
- Mature entry certificate obtained from recognized institution
Duration for Certificate
All certificate programs take two (2) years to complete with four (4) academic semesters and one recess semester for industrial attachment taken at the end of the two academic semesters.
Higher Education Certificate (HEC)
The entry requirements for the higher education certificate program will include the following:
- One principal pass at Advanced level or (UACE) and two subsidiaries obtained at the same seating or its equivalent.
- At least 5 passes at ordinary level or (UCE) obtained at the same seating or its equivalent
- Or a certificate of completion with a D or D+ in senior four (S.4) from countries without Level examinations. For example, students from South Sudan, Kenya are considered
