Diploma Programmes

The institute has four accredited Diploma Programmes offered in two Departments, namely; department of Informatics and Department of Business studies.

Requirements

Requirements for each Diploma programme are as follows for each prospective student; the applicants should have on top of O’level certificate;

1. 1. At least one principal pass at A’level from a recognized institution of higher learning
2. 2. A certificate from a recognized institution of higher learning or hold a national certificate in a relevant area
3. 3. A higher education certificate (HEC) from a recognized institution of higher learning.
4. 4. Sat and passed Mature-age examination from a recognized center accredited by NCHE.

Duration

Each diploma programme takes two years to complete or (four (4) semesters).

Intake

There are three intakes for each academic year at the institute;

• 1. August intake – which is the first and main intake of the academic year
• 2. January/February intake – which is the second intake of the semester.
• 3. April/May intakes as the third intake period of the academic year, its considers students for HEC only
